"Where is Shida? It has been 15 minutes she was walking out from the toilet." Aishah said taking a glance towards the clock hanging on the wall beside the cupboard.
11.25 p.m.
Just then, a loud shrieking scream was heard. "Arrrggghhh!"
Everyone in the room was stunned. "What was that?" Being the first to snap out from the daze, Aina voice out a respond.
"I don't know but I'm pretty sure that the cacophonous voice just now is Shida's." said Hajar. She began to panic. "What should we do now?"
"Maybe she just want to pull a prank on us. Right?" Aishah let out an awkward laugh as she tried to ease the tense situation.
"yeah. I hope so." replied Hajar.
"That's it. We can't just wait here anymore. What if she is really in danger?" Ain said as she stood from her previous spot on the floor. 20 minutes had flew since the shout was heard.
"You're right. But I think it is better if we search in pairs. It might be too dangerous to walk around alone right now. Anything might happen." said Aina, with hands were in her pocket reaching for something. Handphone. "And one more thing. Don't forget to bring your phone with you. The first one that found her has to inform the others and wait here."
"Great. Now I'm stuck with a scare-cat." Aishah said while looking at the girl walking behind her.
"Hey, wait for me. It's not my fault. You're the one who pick my name from the cup." with pouting lips, Syafinaz faster her steps.
"Fine. Do you think we can find her at the pool?" asked Aishah.
"I don't know. Let's just go there first." replied Syafinaz.
"I will look for her in there. Why don't you take alook in the changing room first?" Aishah suggested with her finger pointed to the main swimming pool area.
"You want me to go there alone? No way. What if there is a ghost? My mom said that dark rooms attract bad things." Syafinaz answered.
Her eyes were staring at the changing room. Aishah just rolled her eyes. "Just switch on the light and scream if you see anything. I'll be right there. Now, go."
After forcing Syafinaz into the changing room, she made her way to the tremendous natatorium. Using her handphone as alight source, she ran her left hand on the wall to search for switches. With a light force, she pushed the switch downwards. In an instant, the place was illuminated bright.
"Wow." she exclaimed.
No matter how many times she went here, she still found it was beautiful. From the entrance, she could see a big swimming pool in the middle, sets of bleacher around it and four diving boards with different heights (1.5 metres, 3.0 metres, 5.0 metres and 7 metres).
"I will never go up there." she mentally remained herself.
At the corner where the floats were located, she saw a glimpse of shadow move swiftly.
"Anyone there? Shida?" she uttered.
Two seconds had past. There was no reply. Just a moment of silence. Her heart began to beat frantically.
